Cyberpower CP800AVR 800VA 450W UPS w AVR

The CyberPower CP800AVR UPS offers advanced power protection in a compact design. It features automatic voltage regulation (AVR), which ensures that your electronics are supplied AC power that is clean and stable. Designed for basic to mid-level computer systems, the CP800AVR guards against surges/spikes, and also offers power via battery backup in the event of a brownout or total power loss. It includes software (compatible with Windows PCs) that monitors AC power and safely shuts down your system if there's a power outage, automatically saving and closing any open files. It also equipped with a RJ-11/RJ-45 combo port, which protects against surges on a phone/fax/modem line or a network/DSL line. There is also protection for a cable TV, satellite TV or cable modem line via an RG-6 coaxial connection. The CP800AVR has 8 grounded 110-volt AC outlets: 4 outlets have battery backup and surge protection, 4 have surge protection only. (Surge-protected outlets are great for powering devices such as a monitor, printer, scanner, iPod or CD/DVD player.) Four outlets have extra-wide spacing to fit transformer-based plugs. Under half load (225 watts), the UPS can supply backup power for 10 minutes; under full load (450 watts), for 3 minutes. LEDs light to indicate wiring faults and when power is on. A circuit breaker protects against overloads, while an audible alarm sounds when the unit is running on battery power, or when unit overloads or has low power. An RS-232 serial port and a USB port allow software shutdown of a Windows PC. The USB port is compatible with power management and shutdown features of Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. The standalone design allows the UPS to be placed vertically or horizontally, or even wall mounted. The CP800AVR is backed by the manufacturer's 3-year limited warranty and a $200,000 connected-equipment warranty.
